sadly, I get the "there are no bytes to change in this file" message...

only 1/2 the MTS's are actually locked after extraction from their F1C .mas... I't the same ones whether I used 3DSimED or MAS Explorer so I believe that it isn't an issue with the extraction process.

I have attached one of the still locked MTS's if you have the time to have a look.

Cheers

as I imagined the format changes.
no problem, the following patcher should work almost universally.
and REPORT any other locked file that doesn't get patched by it

thx, it worked on the few I tried!

it there a way to make a .bat file as per the use of your other great tools like WTCCED etc? So I can run on a folders content, and not file by file?

at the moment not because lpatch doesn't have a way to specify the file to patch (for using it in sequence with each file through the classical find.exe utility).
maybe I will release a new version with such option later

I forgot to update the thread, I have updated lpatch so now it can do it:
http://aluigi.org/mytoolz.htm#lpatch

obviously you need the find utility and its dependencies:
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/downlinks/findutils-bin-zip.php
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/downlinks/findutils-dep-zip.php

example:
Code:
find c:\input_folder -iname "*.mts" -exec c:\lpatch.exe c:\mtsunlock.lpatch "{}" yes ;
remember to make a backup of the original mts files first
